The ride begins with a gentle trail through the reserve, where riders may encounter wildlife such as bushbuck, duiker, grysbok, vervet monkeys, and a variety of bird species. From there, the route opens onto the wide, untouched sands of Sardinia Bay Beach, where riders can enjoy a relaxed ocean-side ride. More experienced riders may arrange a controlled canter along the beach in advance.
