Friday is yours to unwind in Summerstrand — explore beachfront cafés, The Boardwalk Mall, or simply rest before a day of adventure. Saturday we collect you from your hotel for a morning of heart-racing activities in Addo (zipline, superman zipline and giant swing), a relaxed lunch, and a scenic quad bike tour. After a full day of thrills, we return you to the hotel for an evening at your leisure. Sunday morning closes the trip with breakfast and checkout.

A 1-hour guided quad bike experience through scenic Addo trails.
Suitable for beginners and experienced riders.
Safety Note: Closed-toe shoes and long pants recommended. No alcohol before this activity.

What is included in the Addo Weekend Trip package?

Your package includes two nights’ accommodation in Summerstrand (PE) with daily breakfast, all transfers to Saturday’s activities, the full Addo Adrenaline itinerary (zipline, superman zipline, giant swing and quad bike tour), and a lunch break on Saturday. All activity fees are fully covered.

Where is the accommodation located?

You’ll stay in Summerstrand, Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) — one of the city’s safest, most central beachfront neighbourhoods. The area is close to beaches, cafés, The Boardwalk Mall, restaurants, and great walking routes.

Do I need my own transport on Saturday?

No. Saturday’s full itinerary includes hotel pickup and drop-off, plus transfers between all activities. You only need your own transport for arrival on Friday and departure on Sunday.

What time is pickup on Saturday?

Pickup is at 07:20 AM from your hotel lobby. Please be ready 10 minutes before this time.

What should I wear for the activities?

Adrenalin Addo: Comfortable sporty clothing; closed-toe shoes; avoid loose jewellery.
Quad Biking: Closed shoes, long pants, and clothing you don’t mind getting dusty.
Evenings: Smart casual for dinner or exploring Gqeberha.

Are meals included?

Yes — Saturday lunch and daily breakfast are included. Dinner on Friday and Saturday nights is at your own expense, but there are plenty of great restaurant options nearby.

Can I participate if I’ve never done these activities before?

Absolutely. All activities are beginner-friendly with trained instructors guiding you every step of the way.

Are there age or weight restrictions?

Yes. Adrenalin Addo and Crisscross Adventures have their own safety limits. Generally:

Quad biking is suitable for most adults and teenagers.
Zipline activities may have minimum/maximum weight restrictions.Please confirm with us if you’re unsure.

Can I bring alcohol?

You are welcome to enjoy drinks during your leisure time on Friday and after the activities on Saturday. However, no alcohol is allowed before or during any of the adrenaline activities for safety reasons.

How strenuous are the activities?

The activities are high-adrenaline but not extremely physically demanding. The quad bike tour requires basic balancing and coordination. The zipline activities involve walking up short pathways to the launch points.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We monitor weather very closely with our activity partners. Most activities operate in light rain, but if conditions become unsafe, the schedule may be adjusted. If any activity is cancelled due to extreme weather, we will communicate alternatives.
